Vertical Roller Mill Operation

The abnormal operation will make the vertical roller mill cannot work successfully and it will make some loss. To help clients solve these problems, the experts will give the right operation methods and correct the wrong ways.

Control the material layer thickness. The vertical roller mill material layer thickness has great important influence to the machine operation. When the material layer is too thin, it will be easy to make the grinding roller and millstone collision and make vibration. When the material layer is too thick, it will make the machine do not have enough grinding. When the machine is in trial operation, it needs to pay attention to feeding material amount and make the machine in normal operation.

Control the feeding material size. The vertical roller mill technical parameter has showed the machine feeding material size. When the machine works, it needs to control the feeding material size in suitable and normal range. The size of feeding material will influence the material layer thickness. The feeding material size also has influence to the machine operation. When the material is fragile, the feeding size is large, materials in the grinding cavity are easy to be grinded and make the millstone have empty phenomenon. It will make the grinding roller and millstone collision and make the machine vibration.

Control the air volume. Vertical roller mill production system is a negative pressure system. There are two machines inside the system: hot blast stove and exhaust fan. The former will blow hot wind and exhaust fan will make the hot wind out of the system. The hot blast stove is used to dry material and prevent explosion. The exhaust fan’s function is to form the negative pressure system. It can help collect the powder. The exhaust fan has great function for the vertical roller mill production line. If it is not suitable, it will make the grinding materials unqualified. Control the grinding mill fineness needs the exhaust fan air volume. The large air volume will make the powder material too coarse or it will be too thin. The unqualified materials will waste the materials and waste manpower and operation costs.

Abnormal Vibration of Vertical Roller Mill

It is normal to have vibration phenomenon in vertical roller mill working process. The normal vibration is in a fixed vibration range. If there is special situation, it will make the vibration roller mill have abnormal vibration. There are many factors which can result this: uniform material layer, large scale material, overpressure of grinding roller to material, serious wear of grinding roller and millstone, not enough ventilate and so on. Facing this phenomenon, clients need to adopt some measures to control the vibration mill vibration, such as control feeding material size, feeding material amount, change the wear parts timely, and adjust the distance between vertical roller mill grinding roller and millstone. It can reduce the abnormal vibration in vertical roller mill.

Uniform Material Layer

If the material layer is stable, the grinding system air volume, air pressure and feeding material will be stable. Working System with Differential Pressure

The differential pressure is the other index for clients to pay attention to. It refers to the vane pressure loss. The successful operation of vertical roller mill working system is depending on wind. The flow of wind will form differential pressure in working system. The flow of wind will bring the flow of material and it can guarantee the working stage successfully. When the differential pressure is obvious, it can decide that the resistance in working system is large. Through adding air volume, water volume, reducing classifier speed will be useful to reduce the differential pressure.
